La Vanille Nature Park, previously known as La Vanille Crocodile Park, was established in 1984 in the south of Mauritius. What began as a small crocodile farm has grown into a natural park bringing together species from Mauritius, the Mascarene Islands and Madagascar.
Visitors can explore freely, observe animals up close and discover another side of Mauritius, guided by responsible animal care, respect for nature and a genuine visitor experience.

The Park & Map
La Vanille Nature Park spans 5.5 hectares of tropical nature, thoughtfully designed for a gradual and open exploration.
From reptile areas to museums and educational spaces, each section of the park contributes to both the experience and the understanding of the living world.
Visitors can take part in selected activities, interact where permitted, and enjoy close encounters with the animals.
Throughout the visit, follow the paths, take time to explore, and enjoy the experience at your own pace. As the park is first and foremost a living environment for the animals, visitors are kindly asked to respect their surroundings and follow all guidelines in place.
